Julia Rogers

Hi. My name is Julia Rogers and I'm 15 years old. I'm a sophomore in high school and i signed up for Child Growth and Development because i like kids. I used baby sit my cousins. They're two, four, and seven. I really enjoyed taking care of them. My favorite thing about kids is that they have an incrediblie imagination.

Haley Irina Greenfield

I'm Haley Irina Greenfield, 17 (junior), Monticello High School. 

I have many interests in my life, a few of them are animals, children, technology, fashion, and interior design. These interests of mine are all quite different from one another and yet I have no idea what I would say is my favorite. This year I'm doing track for my first time and I'm really enjoying it. 

I believe one is never too old or too young to learn something new. I also participate in rock climbing and take classes to stay active. Through the sport of rock climbing I have learned to never give up on things that may seem impossible. 

Now, for why I have signed up for this class of Child Growth and Development, is because children the futures of our futures. They have so much to learn and yet, even though we teach them, we (the teachers) learn so much and the kids can teach us many things as well. 

I have worked at an in home daycare every summer for about four years and seeing the kids grow and learn and everything else they do is just so mind blowing to me and very amazing to observe.

My name is Brooklyn but people call me Brooke. I like sports and that is one of our theme days. I am 16 and now have my license and I'm loving it! I chose this class because I want to be a grade school teacher or something in the career of kids. I know how to take care of kids because I have a brother who is 5 and help took care of him whe he was a baby. I also love seeing kids learn and see who they are.

 Hi my name is brook. I'm 17years old and I'm in high school my interests are listening to music ,watching tv ,babysitting hanging out with friends ,going places  eating healthy animals babies. I signed up for this class because I like learning about  parenting. My favorite things about kids is that they are really cute.... 

Lindsay Young

My name is Lindsay Young. I am a senior at Monticello High School. I have been in marching band for all four years. I also have been apart of the clubs Thespians, Spanish and Rotary. In my free time from doing all my extra activities I like to sing, read, dance and hang out with my friends. I signed up for this class because I love working with children and hope to have a better understanding of children. 

Emily Defend

Hi! My name is Emily Defend. I am a senior at Monticello High School and I am 17 years old. A few of my interests are singing, playing musical instruments, horseback riding, and pretty much anything outdoors! I was in the Monticello Marching Sages Color Guard all four years of high school and was a captain for three years. I was also in the Monticello Madrigals for three years. I signed up for Child Growth and Development because I love kids and would love to learn more about them. I have worked at the afterschool and summer care programs at Monticello Christian Acadamy for four years and just love the opportunity to spend time with the kids there. My favorite part about kids is their openness, honestly, and curiosity about life.

        Hi! My name is Sierra Smith. I am a senior at Monticello High School and I'm 18 years old. My hobbies include reading, riding bikes, and riding horses. My favorite thing about children is how open they are to trying and learning something new. I took this class because I wanted to be apart of Little Sages Preschool!!
