Lindsay Young

My name is Lindsay Young. I am a senior at Monticello High School. I have been in marching band for all four years. I also have been apart of the clubs Thespians, Spanish and Rotary. In my free time from doing all my extra activities I like to sing, read, dance and hang out with my friends. I signed up for this class because I love working with children and hope to have a better understanding of children. 

Emily Defend

Hi! My name is Emily Defend. I am a senior at Monticello High School and I am 17 years old. A few of my interests are singing, playing musical instruments, horseback riding, and pretty much anything outdoors! I was in the Monticello Marching Sages Color Guard all four years of high school and was a captain for three years. I was also in the Monticello Madrigals for three years. I signed up for Child Growth and Development because I love kids and would love to learn more about them. I have worked at the afterschool and summer care programs at Monticello Christian Acadamy for four years and just love the opportunity to spend time with the kids there. My favorite part about kids is their openness, honestly, and curiosity about life. 

Sierra Smith

           

        Hi! My name is Sierra Smith. I am a senior at Monticello High School and I'm 18 years old. My hobbies include reading, riding bikes, and riding horses. My favorite thing about children is how open they are to trying and learning something new. I took this class because I wanted to be apart of Little Sages Preschool!!

Shelby Graham

My name is Shelby Graham. I am 16 and I am in my sophomore year of high school. In the summer, I like to swim, tan, ride bikes, and hang out with friends. I signed up for this class because I love kids! 

Claire Maxwell

Hi! My name is Claire Maxwell, and I'm 17 and a junior in high school. I love to sing and I also play the flute and ukulele. I also love my job- I work at MCA after school, which is a local daycare. I signed up for Child Growth and Development so I can learn more about kids. my favorite thing about children is how innocent and funny they are!

      My name is Courtney Raup. I'm a 15 year old girl and I am currently in the sophomore class. My interest are softball and gymnastics and cheerleading. I love sports. The reason I signed up for child growth and development was because I thought it was interesting and because I love kids. My favorite things about kids is they is they all have a unique personality and it's fun learning what little kids like to do.

Nathanael Cook

My name is Nathanael I am 16 years old and am a Junior. I have been living in Monticello for 10 to 11 years now, my hobbies are playing video games and messing with computers. The reason why I am taking this class is for the reason everyone says I am great with kids so I want to see how well I do with these kids.
